Livingston Parish Library

LABARRE ASSOCIATES, INC. has a well-established and long relationship with the Livingston Parish library board. The design and construction of four new parish libraries came to fruition following a decade-long collaborative effort with the board. The library design was a joint venture between LABARRE ARCHITECTS, APAC and Cockfield-Jackson Architects.  The four new libraries are: Denham Springs-Walker, Albany-Springfield, Watson, and South Branch in Livingston.  These branches range in size from 9,580 to 18,960 square feet and were all newly designed and constructed to incorporate a similar architectural style.  LABARRE ARCHITECTS and Cockfield-Jackson Architects have recently teamed up again to design a new main branch for the Livingston Parish Library System.  Construction on this branch is currently underway and is expected to be completed in early 2012.
