Business Report’s 2011 Salute to Women in Business

There is no question why the National Diversity Council named Julie Brown as one of the "2010 Most Powerful and Influential Women" in Louisiana.  She is not only successful in her professional career, but also extensively involved in her community.

She serves as an Alzheimer Association Ambassador for the state of Louisiana, where she plays a critical role in serving as the main point of in-district contact for targeted members of Congress.  Julie is also a third-degree black belt and excelled in both academics and athletics at The George Washington University.  Julie joined Labarre Associates in 2005 and brings more than 20 years' executive-level financial and general management experience to the firm.  Julie's responsibilities include finance and accounting, human resources, IT, and performance and risk management.  She continues to confidently transform executive visions and plans into reality, being a vital partner in the growth of Labarre Associates.
